I received my first curlBox last week, and I was so excited. I didn’t sign-up for this service when it first came out because I didn’t want to spend the money, and I didn’t want to have a PJ relapse. However, when the next opportunity surfaced to sign-up, I didn’t hesitate. Like many naturals, I set my alarm for 5 - 10 minutes before the sign-up opened, and sat poised by my Mac. I felt like I had won the lottery when I successfully signed up.
So, I’ve already tried at least two of the items in my box. I tried the Curls Curlicious Cleansing Cream and the SofnFree Milk Protein & Olive Oil Really Deep Conditioning Treatment. My experience with both was not positive. The Cleansing cream left my hair feeling dry. I used it on two separate occasions, and the outcome was the same each time. This is going into my “giveaway” pile.
I used the SofnFree as my deep-conditioner after my henna treatment. It was an epic failure. My hair felt like straw. I had to co-wash my hair again to counter the effects of the conditioner.
I like the idea of the product subscription service. It does give you an opportunity to try multiple products without going broke.
Here is a diptych of the products, and a list of what came in the box.

What did you think of the Nutress Foam Wrap? I heard it is really conditioning and great for braid-outs
I haven’t tried it yet. I’m washing my hair today so maybe I’ll try a braid out, and blog about it.
