Today was the National Natural Hair Day around the country.  Naturalistas all over the country came together to trade stories, products, and share information.  I was truly shocked when I found out that there would be an event in Phoenix.  This city isn’t known for supporting events of this type.  Imagine my surprise when I arrived, and saw beautiful natural sisters spilling out of the venue.  And we were still coming!  The venue was small, but the sisters made it work.  There were a few vendors present as well.

The cost of admittance was $5.00, and it went to a local organization.  There was also a raffle for different products, and items donated by the vendors.  I won a t-shirt that I cannot wait to wear.  Here are some images from today’s event.
